Paul Cayard has to be right up there as a spokesperson and guiding beacon for the sport. Smart, personable, and articulate, he is an outstanding writer to whom being analytical is second nature. Hee's not afraid to tell it like it is, and that includes his own personal feelings. Add to that, he's a doer and not just a sayer. Oh yes, he's also multi-lingual. How many other US "spokespersons" are capable of providing expert TV commenary in Italian, or for that matter, French.
