I just bought this fine yacht and would like to know if any of you fine people have any information as to how to rig this yacht. Dose anyone have an original brochure that you would be willing to share. Can I use a spankaner with it, and would PERF allow me to race the boat?

Any help would be greatly appreceiated.

Thank You,

Ralph Feeney

I remember making Woodpussy sails during my stint at Sobstad Sails in San Diego (now Quantum). I didn't think the WP was as long as 17 feet... maybe it has a big brother. Either way, maybe contact Mark Reynolds for help at mreynolds@quantumsails.com - Craig Leweck, Scuttlebutt

I have always thought this was an unfortunate choice of names for a boat. Skunk would not have been much better, but at least OK in mixed company. The problem is outside the sailing community where the name still inspires shock and awe when asked the dreaded question by your girlfriend's mother what kind of boat you own.

For that reason I prefer a Rhodes 19 or Thistle.

Exactly what does PERF stand for in your area? In my area it's PHRF.
