Ice Boat picture up close? Log-In to Post/Reply

There is a picture of an ice boat on http://www.xsracing.org with a girl either sik screened or sublimated on the sail. I was wondering who does this kind of work with sails and are there any up close pictures of this same boat somewhere on the web so that I can see the resolution that might be possible for our current sponsors.

We asked Whitney Gladestone, who runs North Graphics, and he replied with the following info:

"The image on the sail is digitally printed on an adhesive backed vinyl, something like 3M Controltac; which adheres well to film sails. When applying digitally printed images onto a Dacron sail, it is best to print on insignia cloth, which is thesame material as spreader patches and sail numbers. The file to be printed has to be as high a resolution as possible. We do this printing in house. Nice telltales...."
