Willamette Sailing Club has been the center for dinghy sailing in Portland, Oregon since 1961. Our mission is to promote, advance, and encourage the sport of Corinthian and amateur sailing amongst our members and the general public. WSC is located five minutes south of downtown Portland on the west bank of the Willamette River.
The club hosts a busy year-round schedule of racing, social sailing, and learn to sail programs (LTS), as well as river-related social and educational events. Our LTS program continues to expand each year with over 700 youth and adult participants each summer. The club is also in the final stages of completing construction of a brand new floating clubhouse facility and is currently expecting delivery of a new fleet of twelve C-420s (arrival in March 2018). Our membership is engaged and excited to continue to grow the club.
