Boats with no wood deck core?? Log-In to Post/Reply

Other than Halberg-Rassy what companies had/have models without wood core? I know that some of the 60's sailboats were Masonite core but I was wondering if there are any others builders who use a non-rotting core material.

I was hoping that more of builders used the plastic core that Halberg employs. It seems that here in my area it can be difficult finding and Pre-1985 boat without significant moisture in the deck and they are mostly Balsa core. There is a nice Halberg 31 for sale but north of what I would want to pay right now.
