Sebago to Preview New Triwater Line at PSP Southampton Boat Show
Sebago will be celebrating their 25th year of exhibiting at the PSP Southampton Boat Show with the preview of their newest Triwater Line that will be available from Spring 2012 onwards. This will be the first time that the boating public are introduced to Sebago’s new category of high performance footwear, known as ‘Triwater’.
Sebago has been crafting handsewn footwear used in open ocean sailing for over 60 years. This unique position in the marine market has been used to leverage Sebago’s expertise and create the latest footwear line, Triwater, for power boaters, anglers, sailors and water sport enthusiasts.
Known as the ‘toughest shoes on the water’ Triwater by Sebago footwear, is made with high-performance and technically advanced materials to offer greater functionality, durability and comfort without compromising on style.
Triwater technology features ‘Sebago Blue Wave Vibration Dampening Technology’ uniquely cushioning any vibration or compressions under the foot and allowing the wearer to feel just enough of the feedback that connects them to the boat and ultimately to the water beneath.
A marine guard at toe and heel offers direct protection in a particularly important area for boaters and sailors alike. The small bones of the foot that bump against solid boat hardware on deck are offered additional protection through the Triwater. A highly-durable and abrasion resistant, piece of material is applied to both toe and heel areas, this ensures complete escape from sore toes and heels synonymous with prolonged hours afloat.
Drainage channels and ports in this style help make sure any water that comes in has an easy path out again. The Triwater footbeds are also anatomically shaped with a contoured heel to provide exceptional support to the shape of the foot and each footbed is removable upon washing, cutting down on drying time.
