The Olivia Constants Foundation Launches Website
Annapolis, Maryland (October 19, 2011) - The Olivia Constants Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of their much anticipated website, honoring the spirit of 14-year-old Olivia Constants, who died tragically in June 2011 in a sailing accident in Annapolis, Maryland (www.oliviaconstantsfoundation.org)
In conjunction with the launch of the website, The Olivia Constants Foundation, Inc., is currently pending a 501c3 status; allowing donations to the organization to be tax-deductible.
The mission of the Olivia Constants Foundation, Inc., is “to do all the good we can, for whomever we can, in the spirit of Olivia.” The Foundation seeks to maximize its impact by providing grants to individuals and organizations, which reflect the spirit of Olivia, especially in efforts that enhance the positive quality of individual, family and community life.
Showcasing Olivia’s favorite things within the pages of the website, including pink and purple hues, flower accents, and pictures of Olivia; this website is not just a memory of her, it’s a dedication to the person Olivia was. The website will provide an interactive forum for people to keep up with events in the area, donate to the foundation, and apply for grants, which the foundation will begin issuing in early 2012.
Olivia’s sister, Chloe Constants explains, “I am excited that we will be able to continue the legacy of my sister Olivia, and further impact people in her spirit through the Foundation. The website is a beacon of Olivia that I hope reaches many”. Olivia was a compassionate, caring, helpful, loving, honest young teen. This Foundation will not only spread her compassion and love, it will help those Olivia won’t be able to touch.
