The Yngling North Americans were hosted by Sakonnet Yacht club in Little Compton, Rhode Island on Aug 20-23. Winds ranged from 5 to 15 knots with large waves due to Hurricane Bill. Racing was very close for the top 3 boats. Any one of the top three could have won the regatta going into the last race.
