I was just a kid when I decided to build a boat and travel the world; six years and one case of cancer ago I began building my life's dream, a 45' custom Roberts design sailboat. Sept 14 Amnesty tasted salt water for the first time and what a day! I have been inspired to help other cancer patients and have organized the Victory Lap, Amnesty will be the flagship guiding a fleet of boats carrying cancer survivors on a circumnavigation. This will begin towards the end of Dec and probably take two and a half years to complete. We have a web site but I haven't asked permission to post it and don't want to start out breaking any rules but anyone interested in participating for any length of time is welcome to contact me for more info and the web site.
