Dear yachtsman,


This year, the Senior Games will be organized in September 2009 in the Dutch province Zeeland, and an estimated 3.000 athletes 50 years and older from all over Europe are expected to join.
Participants will compete during this Multi-sport Event in no less than 21 major sports. This event is the first of its kind in Europe, a unique opportunity for the Netherlands.

Sailing is one of the main sports in the Senior Games 2009 program. Beneath one can find the specific information concerning the sailing competition.

Program*
There will be 10 races at the Senior Games 2009
First race: Monday 7th of September
Last race: Tuesday 10th of September
* The organization has the right to change the program at all time

Conditions
The event is open to those in possession of a valid license.

Venue

Race area is the Grevelingenmeer. The Grevelingenmeer is a salt water lake, without current. Boatpark and launch facilities are located at the harbour in the middle of the city of Brouwershaven.
