Traverse City, Mi (July 28th) - The Interlake National Championship Series concluded with Skip Dieball of Toledo, Oh. (and Dieball Sailing) with crew Jeff Eiber, Cleveland, scoring 10 points in 9 scored races in the Championship Division. Skip & Jeff essentially put on a clinic for three days at the newly rebuilt Grand Traverse Yacht Club as they sailed smart and fast in shifty conditions that ranged from 7-17 knots and flat water to 1.5' waves. Interlake Challenger Champion: Jim Milliman & Louis Rodriguez, GTYC, Ladies Champ: Abby Branson, Sam Swartzmiller, Adela Sedor, GTYC Junior Champ: Clark & Dirke Phelps, Colton Gerber, GTYC.
