The Greenport Ocean Race is happening again this year!

Go to www.greenportoceanrace.com for information on the event and entering.

So far we have classics, mini's, class 40's and Swan 42's signed up! Are you on the list?

The Start is Friday, October 2nd, 2009

The course is a 95 mile from Greenport, NY, around Block Island and back.

Last year saw 25 boats lined up at the start with a 25-35 knot run to Block Island with J/105's getting to Block Island in 3 1/2 hours!

Did I mention that Greenport has a Brewery? So many reasons to enter!

See you at the starting line!

I'm in. I was told the Mini Transat and the J80 have similar phrf numbers. I guess we'll see over 95 miles which is faster. I'll bet you a growler of Greenport Harbor Ale the J80 beats the Mini around the course. See you at the tent after the race. I'll be waiting.
