SmileRegarding the scoring system for the VOR. One thing they are missing is some type of bonus or reward in terms of points for the Yacht or Yachts that complete all legs of the race! George Peet Sr

I agree with you on that one . . . hmmm. If they don't . . . . lets rally some support to create our own award for the boat(s). Any one else game????

Agree, there should be a extra points given to the boats that finish all legs. You could also give 1 additional point for each leg completed (awarded after the Gothenburg leg).

No way,the race has stated points for each leg that are known before it even starts.
Why the hell would you award points for completing every leg unless you actually believed that this was not a real possibility,thats just dumb.
What needs to happen is that you forfiet 1/2 the points you earn on the next leg if you dont complete a leg.This maybe an incentive to drive the boat a little less powerfully and complete the race properlly.
