That video was worthless. Maybe if you are a heli fan it was ok, but the sailing footage was bad. Why did you bother posting this here?

Depends on what you are looking for. It was definitely not riveting in the way the Pirates Heli video was, but it was nice to see what can be done to show the sport. Light air footage is hardly of interest, but once you add some music and edit to the beat, you have something that looks pretty bitchin on the big screen (or maybe I am just into the heli thing).

The only thing missing from the video was contact information for the heli outfit to come video your next event . . .yadda yadda. I suspect that if their intention was to video the sailing it would have been great (did you guys catch the bowman at the mast head!! That was nice!). My gut says that the video was a little self serving . . . truth: heli video work is a great way to bring this sport to our homes.

Lame, lame, lame. As far as sailing video goes, a waste of fuel and time.

An interesting commercial for selling heli video services, but the sailing footage looked like a last minute after thought. (Oh, look there's some boats over there let's take a picture of that).

Note to producers: If you are going to make a video about sailing, you should spend a significant amount of time on the subject (say 75-80%). The heli video was good, but you should have spent the same amount of time on each boat in the race

This is the sailing Video of the Week? Should rename it Video of the Weak.

If this is an example of what Scuttlebutt and the Scuttlebutt forum has to offer I'm going to add scuttlebutt to my list of SPAM emailers.

Thanks for the comments on last week's video. We must have been too impressed with the editing and multiple cameras that we forgot that the video is supposed to be about sailing. Rest assured, this week's video should get us back on track.
