Ross Ritto, music industry professional and San Diego sailor, passed away from cancer on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at the age of 60. Born in Rochester, NY, Ross spent nearly 40 years in the sound reinforcement business, helping to grow the company that would provide touring systems for the likes of Jimmy Buffett, and eventually full systems integration. His involvement in the Southern California sailing scene included his Farr ILC 40 High Five and involvement as a PHRF handicapper.
