BOR 90 Trimaran - Future Plans Log-In to Post/Reply

Has anyone seen news on the present status of, or future plans for, the BMW Oracle Trimaran? I've been looking and have seen only one article,

http://www.signonsandiego.com/...cas-cup-celebration/

http://forums.sailinganarchy.com/...php?showtopic=104944

a March 1, 2010 article by Bill Center, UNION-TRIBUNE, containing containing comments by James Spithill. The "former" BOR 90 skipper notes, with some regret, that he has no idea what the future holds for the boat, the principal factor in such decisions being the rediculous expense associated with operating the boat, raising and lowering the wing mast, etc.

Has anybody heard any other news?

Perhaps the only way to get an answer would be to send Larry Ellision a letter offering to buy the boat ;-)

From BMW ORACLE RACING:

"It is here in VLC in a tent at the commercial port. Sailing plans are under review pending venue selection."

Thanks. That's good news (though I guess it had to be somewhere). Perhaps Jimmy will get a chance to take her out for another spin after all.

Have a great day.
