RULES FOR POSTING ADS

The Classified Ads are intended as a marketplace for private parties to buy and sell, or for businesses to post job openings. Scuttlebutt/Inbox Communications has the discretion of declining any classified ad that in their opinion is not appropriate for Scuttlebutt classified advertising.
Ad postings are free, but are limited to four months. Ads must be placed in the appropriate category or they may be deleted. If there is no category for your item, then it should not be posted. Ad copy should not exceed one hundred words, and should include item cost and location (if applicable). Ad copy can include website address (if available) and may include no more than three photos (no wider than 600 pixels).
Transactions are solely between seller and buyer; Scuttlebutt/Inbox Communications is not liable for these transactions. Advertiser should verify the intent of all inquiries, and confirm that the interested party is legitimate and not a scam. Advertiser should consider using only secure forms of payment (example: cashier's check for exact sale amount or use PayPal).
HOW TO POST AD - Open the appropriate category and click on NEW THREAD (upper right side). You must be logged in to post an ad (click here to get a Username)
- In the THREAD SUBJECT box, write the name of the item you are selling or wanting, or the job you are listing. For job listings, include the state that the job is located.
- Include your ad copy and photos (if desired) in the subject box.
