Beach Point Yacht Club in Mamaroneck, NY is seeking current college racing sailors who are interested in coaching Jr. sailors next summer (mid June thru mid August). Beach Point sailors participate in regattas hosted by the JSA of Long Island Sound and other regional events in Optimists and Lasers. Our program consists of approximately 75 sailors ages 8 - 17, ranging from beginners to advanced racers. We are seeking instructors who have a passion for sailing, a high level of enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2-3 years of coaching experience and a Level 1 US Sailing Certification.
