Responsibilities include preparing for and conducting daily practices, supporting regattas and providing constructive feedback. Our sailors, from the youngest “basin bandits” to the advanced 420 racers, are historically bright, highly motivated and strongly supported by their parents and our club. HYC instructors report to a seasoned professional director and receive instructional and material support that is second to none. We consider ourselves fortunate to attract and retain the best and brightest junior sailing coaches available.
Job Qualifications
420 and Opti Coaching experience
2 years coaching experience
The program is made up of 420, Opti and N-10’s and 50+ 8-16 year old sailors.
Must have Level I US Sailing Instructor Qualification and First Aid/CPR. Would prefer candidate with prior teaching or equivalent experience in a waterfront environment.
Hull, Mass is located 15 miles south of Boston. Hull is accessible by car, commuter rail, and the commuter boat (from Boston). If needed, the Junior Race Committee will assist candidates with summer housing options.
